A product is said to be organic when naturally present in the human body. So we speak about organic Calcium, Magnesium or Phosphor and therefore about organic Silicon.
The trace element (Calcium, Magnesium, Silicon or other) has to be introduced to the body to penetrate under a "disguise", a chemical form which can be totally assimilated.
It is Norbert DUFFAUT who discovered the "chemical disguise" of Silicon.
But this discovery would not have succeeded without the eminent collaboration of Ph. Voisin who had been able to stabilize and to preserve the molecule.
These are silanols.
For seven years, and thanks to me, the French Organisations AFSAAPS (government organisation in charge of security for health and pharmaceutical products) and DGCCRF (other organisation in charge of the safety of business markets, specially designed to target frauds) have authorised Organic Silicon, under this shape, as a real dietary complement. Unfortunately, in December 2009, the European Union decided to forbid “silanols” in drinkable preparations. Why…? For which reasons? No one can wisely answer this question!
Anyway, the use of the molecule discovered by N. Duffaut : silanols, proved how efficient Organic Silicon is to cure many human pathologies. But humanity had lived before the discovery of silanols, Silicon can mainly be found in plants, you can find some in mineral water but as Silicate, which is not really assimilated by the human body.
All the plants contain Silicon, some more than others : shallots, garlic, bamboo, nettle for instance. But the one that contains the most important quantity of silicon is Equisetum arvense, commonly known as Field Horsetail or Common Horsetail. We need to rely on plants that contain Silicon, but we need to insure that the plant we use actually contains some!
Hydroponics allows us to do so.
It is a very environmental friendly way to grow plants. In soil-less culture ground is replaced by a substratum (coir or coco peat, a by-product of coconut, as mineral wool is not really ecologic). The plant is given nutrient solution. It is then easy to enrich its food with silicon. Hydroponics also saves from 70 to 90 % of water compared to traditional culture and there is no need to use phytosanitary products, pesticides…
Equisetum arvense
This plant is well-known since Antiquity for its healing properties. Its sterile stalk is used and it is naturally rich in minerals such as silicon, but also potassium and calcium. Hence its re-mineralising property. It has been used for ages to heal not only connective tissues (cartilage, tendons, bones), bone fractures, but also arteries (in particular their inside walls). That is why I choose to use the latter for my laboratory’s whole range of products.

Why is it useful to complete your diet with silicon? |
NATURALLY – as hair tends to be greying when one gets older the level of silicon decreases in the body.
This lack of silicon is marked all the more as: Eating patterns have changed.
The harder the training is – for instance by taking exercise – the more the body consumes trace elements, particularly Silicon.
Increasing life expectancy and the quality of life wished naturally justifies the Silicon intake.

In which amount can you complete your diet with silicon? |
The Recommended Daily Dose is assessed by the health experts at 30 mg a day. This intake varies according to the age, the physical activity, and the diet.
Epidemiological studies and my experience lead me to recommend:
From 45 years old:
Two courses of treatment a year, of 15 days each (or one month a year) bringing daily 30mg through SILAFLASH ® or SILAMAX®.
From 45 to 55 years old:
Two courses of treatment a year, of a month each (or two months a year) bringing 40mg daily
1 course of SILAMAX® and 1 course of SILANORAL®.
From 60 to 70 years old:
If the natural loss of Silicon has yet been compensated:
1 course of treatment of a month with SILAMAX® and 2 courses of a month each, with SILANORAL® or SILANORAL®+1 (anti-ageing).
If one just starts compensating the natural loss of Silicon:
2 months running of SILAMAX® bringing daily 60mg of Silicon
then, three months later
2 months running of SILANORAL® or SILANORAL®+1.
From 70 to 75 years old:
6 months a year
In the springtime (March, April, May) and in the autumn (October, November, December)
60 to 80 mg a day with SILANORAL® or SILANORAL®+1.
After 75 years old:
To take regularly from 60 to 80 mg a day wisely compensates the loss and prevents age-related problems.
